When you log into Asset Assign, you'll see your Dashboard - your home base for managing rental inventory.
At the top of your dashboard, you'll see two yellow buttons:
➕ New Reservation
Click this to create a new reservation for an event.
📦 Add Inventory Item
Click this to add a new rental item to your inventory.
These buttons are always available at the top of your dashboard for quick access.
At the top of your dashboard, up to three warning sections appear when they have items requiring your attention:
📦 Items Ready for Return — In Progress reservations whose end date has passed. Items are still out and need to be marked returned. Click the checkbox next to any reservation once items are back. If any of those items are booked for an upcoming reservation, you'll see a red "Needed by" date so you know how urgently they're needed.
🕐 Pending — Next 7 Days — Pending reservations with a start date in the next 7 days. A heads-up to follow up or confirm before the event gets too close.
⚠️ Unresolved — Pending reservations whose start date has already passed without being confirmed or cancelled. These slipped through and need a decision: confirm, update the status, or cancel to free up inventory. Click Review to open the reservation.
These sections only appear when they have items — if everything is handled, they stay out of your way.
