What is the Daily Digest?
Asset Assign can send you a daily email called "Action needed in Asset Assign" that summarizes everything requiring your attention. Think of it as your morning check-in without opening the app.
What's Included
The digest covers up to three categories:
- 📦 Items Ready for Return — Active rentals that have ended. These items are still marked as out and need to be confirmed as returned. If any of those items are booked for an upcoming reservation, you'll see a red "Needed by" date so you know how urgently you need them back.
- ⏰ Pending Next 7 Days — Reservations still awaiting confirmation that start within the next week. A reminder to follow up or confirm before the event date.
- ⚠️ Unresolved — Pending reservations whose start date has already passed without being confirmed or cancelled. These need a decision.
If none of these conditions apply on a given day, no email is sent.
Customizing Your Notifications
You can control exactly which categories you receive:
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Toggle each notification type on or off:
- Items Ready for Return
- Pending Soon
- Unresolved
- Changes take effect immediately
